Bonduel Middle School
Mrs. Sorlie's 2008 Communication Arts Class
The sixth grade Communication Arts class from Bonduel Middle School is proud to be part of this project! Our class consists of 19 American English speaking eleven and twelve year-old students. Take a look at us doing our own way of introducing one another on this video! We're dreaming about lemonade weather, but we're stuck in a foot of snow! We hope you like the video of the Kids Introducing Each Other - Proj. Lemonade.
We're located 30 minutes northwest of the infamous Lambeau Field where the Green Bay Packers play in Wisconsin, USA. This is Packer Country, even though our crazy teacher is a Dallas Cowboy football fan... there's always one rebel in every group. Our baseball team is the Milwaukee Brewers, and September was an exciting month for our team! Our community members enjoy bratwursts and burgers hot off the grill while they enjoy spectating our favorite sports. We also love to play sports at school and even though our teacher is crazy... we still like to have fun in the classrooms.
We live in a rural setting where deer hunting, fishing, and other outdoor sports are valued. The village of Bonduel only has approximately 1,200 people residing here, and you can feel the small-town atmosphere upon arrival. You may witness Amish residents in their horses and buggies riding down the road, or see a father tossing an American football to his kids in a backyard.
Celebrations are staple in this area. You can travel to German, Polish, Norwegian, and other heritage festivals all within a couple hours from here. In this area, our ancestors are primarily from northern Europe.

THE BONDUEL BEARS INTEND TO IMPROVE THE SCHOOL BUS BEHAVIOR FOR THE STUDENTS OF THE DISTRICT AS OUR LOCAL PROJECT.
How are we doing this? Check out the letter that we sent to 10 area school districts. This letter was constructed by ALL of us. Whew... and you thought writing your
stuff is hard! We've received a few letters back, and we also have had the opportunity to interview administrators and bussing personnel to get their feed back as well! See the attached documents to find out what we've asked. STAY TUNED TO OUR DISCUSSION PAGE TO SEE OUR COMPILATION OF RESULTS FROM THESE ENDEAVORS!

STEELE, Mo. (AP) -- A junior high school student is hospitalized with several stab wounds after an altercation on a school bus in far southeast Missouri.
Pemiscot County Sheriff Tommy Greenwell says the 14-year-old boy was stabbed at four or five times Wednesday morning by another 14-year-old boy on the way to school in Steele. The bus driver pulled into a convenience store, where several bystanders managed to pull the suspect off the bus and disarm him. The victim was taken to Great River Medical Center in Blytheville, Ark., and later transferred to the Elvis Presley Memorial Trauma Center in Memphis, Tenn. His condition was not immediately available.
The suspect is being held by Pemiscot County juvenile authorities while the investigation continues.
